This article focuses on how susceptible various domestic tasks are to automation, according to experts.
The image should present the data for each domestic task: their possible automation in 5 years and in 10 years.
AI could induce an evolution of our domestic sphere through automation of specific tasks. The article presents experts' predictions in 5 years and in 10 years. For clarity, a small icon could present each activity for simplicity.
17 domestic tasks are presented and there are data for 5-years and 10-years predictions.
Data should be simple to read and values should be easy to compare between different activities.
On the editor's website, illustrations are presented with a vertical format to increase readability, especially on different types of screens (i.e. tablets and phones).
To compare these results, a vertical bar graph is appropriate, especially due to big standard deviations (elongated bars).
For this illustration, a light background is chosen to evocate something neat or clean (which seems appropriate for domestic activities such as household cleaning, laundry or dish washing).
